None!
Hands down, the Tru-Scale Scout was my favorite. My parents had a Scout and I’m sure I begged them non-stop for the toy. I ran it into the ground and found this one on eBay more recently. It was a well designed toy with a lot of functionality and well made too. What was your favorite? IMG_1322.JPG

I'm originally from Michigan, pretty much dead center of the Lower Peninsula. We had an annual even called the Ionia Free Fair. In the 50's and 60's it was a traditional agricultural fair with all the equipment dealers present with displays and demos along with the usual midway, food, livestock, 4H barns etc. etc.

Every year, Dad would buy me one farm toy, usually John Deere. Better than Christmas IMHO! One year he built me a scale(ish) tool shed to park everything in. Over the years I had a 40 crawler, some sort of Generation II tractor, plows, disks, a combine, manure spreader, barge wagons, pretty much a full set.

I farmed a LOT of carpet as a kid!

Also had a Tonka single axle Ford (looking) dump truck that I put a LOT of miles on. Friend that builds farm toys sent me these in sad but repairable shape and I straightened, stripped and painted them. Added interiors, new wheels/tires and "glass".

That's too cool, Rob. I still have all of my toy trucks in my basement. Also, I believe an older neighbor gave me all of his Tru-Scale toys when he went off to college. I still have those as well. They are burried in boxes in the basement, but I have fond memories of playing with all of them in our massive sand pit.... which was really about 8' around, but seemed HUGE to me.

Also had/still have lots of my Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars and trucks. Got lots of mileage out of those. Many fond memories of building models, too.

My favorite item, though, was probably a tie between my Cub Scout knife and an old row boat. I carried that knife from 8 years old to 16. Still have it. And spent countless days in that row boat chasing fish, ducks, muskrats and turtles, then jumping off and swimming after them.

I'm not sure I can designate a favorite. Depends on my age at the time.
My favoriteS I reckon are my Hot Wheels, my Tonka Trucks, and my Red Ryder.
Spent a LOT of time with my Tinker Toys.
The older I grew, probably my mini bike and trailbikes; if they can be classified as toys.

When I was ten years old all I ever wanted was to be able to legally drive and own an International Scout. My dad always considered buying one for the farm but back then they had just come out and it would have been too much of a luxury item for our needs.

We eventually owned two Ford Broncos but to this day I have never even DRIVEN a Scout.

Doepke dozer. The tracks were individual pieces pinned together like real ones! Not rubber tracks.

Photo from internet.

We were so poor, that if my brother and I hadn't been born boys, we wouldn't have had anything to play with (with apologies to Rodney Dangerfield).

I still have all of these! Pics are off E-Bay! Mine were well played with.

Then there was this Grader Toy Grader.JPG

My sisters best friends brother, up the road had this. I guess I was there and fell in love with it, was allowed to take it home, but was utterly devastated when I had to return it. Funny, how I can still remember the emotions. It's not like it is today, when a kid gets anything they want. I never got one. I also played with an old baby carriage undercarriage with some planks on top,
