Farmtrac are not chinese, you may get more info on another part of this site, BUT I am a Farmtrac dealer (as well as Chinese importer) so I might be able to answer, what models are you talking about??

I am not a "big tractor" guy, s we are not in the farm country part of Arknasas, but from what I was told by my Famrtrac Rep, they will carry the SAME line through separate dealerships. the FARMTRAC 7 series is intended to be a "value priced" version compared to the SAME but I have not seen pricing on either line.

I don't think all the folks have grasped the fact that there's a brand of tractors with the name "SAME" Chip. Hopefully this link will drive the point home. Those smaller ones have a nose like a Valtra, don't they....

To be honest, I didn't make sense out of the original posters question at first myself, I was thinking same as what? I guess it was the all lower case. I understand the italian firm is pronounced "sommy" like Tommy but with an "S".

The brand "SAME" (prounced Sammy or Sommy depending on where your dialet is) was sold in my area in the very early 80's. They came on line about the approximate (got to avoid using the word same) as Kubota. Both faired real well with Kubota kicking the crap out of sales to the other brands. The others went Bye Bye. now the orange is the majority and a few green ones.
Well, "Same" brand tractors are still kicking around this area of NY and they are at least 25 + years old. From what I've seen from them if they are still built like they were back then I'd buy one.
I believe some were air cooled. Can''t be sure.

Hi All,

Well, according to what is shown by that ebay seller, they are really nice ( tough ) looking tractors that seem to be fairly reasonably priced.

Take care.
