Farmtrac 555
To start with, I'm new to post on here but have been surfing the forums for lots of information. I appreciate all the help as well.

I recently got a great deal on a tractor and all the implements. The owner had drained the fluids 6 months ago to store it. Now that all the fluids are replaced, the engine cranks but won't fire.

Any ideas?

The inj. pump has a hand primer on the side of it..
The machine also has a fuel shut off petcock below the fuel tank. that petcock has a filter screen on it that extends into the tank{clogged}
Make sure your getting fuel TO the injection pump by using the hand primer..
Loosen the lines AT THE INJECTORS in the head..
With the throttle in the wide open position, Spin the engine until fuel squirts out of those lines & retighten..
It should start then.. if not, lemme know.. theres more things you can do..

Thank you. I'll give that a try when I get out to the ranch.

BTW>> did you know you have to add engine oil to that pump?? IF not.. the innards are probably rusted up.. in which case, take off the side cover on the pump.. 10mm wrench/socket & SEE if the control rack moves back & forth when you pull the stop..
Have the throttle in the "wide open" position & then, push/ pull the stop several times to see if it moves..
IF its stuck.. we'll have to do a lot more work..
