Hey guys I'm looking for some help. Recently while driving I lost my hydraulic steering when I stopped I realized there was a hole that was threaded where something used to be but had obviously came loose and fell out. I have temporarily put a bolt along with a few washers in the hole and replaced the fluid so that the hydraulic steering would work properly. This is obviously not the best solution because it leaks.

I'm trying to identify the part and where to source it... the part that goes in the hole that I have temporarily placed the bolt. I have included some photos with some red arrows pointing at the part. I am no tractor expert so bear with me if you have questions.

You lost the vent and since it's leaking, it means there is a bad seal inside. There was a recent thread about the same issue. I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT: This one: Farmtrac 60 steering cyl leak

Covers the same style cylinder as yours.

Is there a place to source a new vent? It never leaked before it fell out. The screw leaks because it doesn't fit quite right. Im not opposed to addressing the seal issue if there is one but assume I would need a vent regardless?

It needs a vent there because of how that cylinder is built and how it works. The only fix for that is to replace the bad seals and to find a new vent. I don't have a source for that unfortunately.
