In Farmer Speak that is a small tractor.

Today's farmers really need the larger, hi hp tractors to use larger equipment which is far more efficient especially when diesel prices are so high.
Smaller equipment is great when fuel was $1 and less but not anymore.

Well, the first thing I noticed (after the date of the article, Nov '14) was that it was in Norfolk UK. Using a village road, which by the width of the tractor, it just fit.

Something happened to make the operator violently swerve to the left as there are tyre tread gouges in the bitumen.

Remember it's in the UK so the operator is driving on the left, could have scraped the wall and the lugs would have crawled right up and at anything over slow speed, flip.

Yep, Europe. Their roads suck. That is a very large tractor there. That's why some of the comments mention it.

I suspect the tire skid marks are not him deliberately swerving, but are a result of hitting, and climbing, the wall. I wonder if tractor drivers in the UK ever text and drive at the same time?
