I have a '53 Farmall Cub and it's a great little workhorse, but it's clutch petal shaft sticks so badly that I have to manually pull it up by hand! It's also begun to affect the left brake.
I've lubed the snot out of it on both sides of the main body to no avail! The clutch(and brake) work OK, but how do I free up this stuck shaft? I've heated it with a torch, tried to remove it, and used plenty of lube!
Is there something inside that could be causing the sticking? The release bearing and linkeage are free. I don't want to tear the tractor in two if I don't have to!
Help! Anyone?
Gratefully,
Killowatt
