Does anyone know the dimensions of a Farmall Cub tractor??

Mine was just slightly larger than the 12-volt that fit in it. It had a hard cover, with the wires coming into it on the top sides.

A very snug fit. I guess you can start with that.

I never liked the battery in a box on the operator's platform. I converted my cub to 12 volts so that I can run a standard sprayer pump. I use a GM-style battery with side posts, supported below the operator platform, using a couple 3/8" threaded rods up thru the platform and a plate across the bottom of the battery. This leaves more room up top for added operator comfort and is a big improvement over the factory setup in that regard.
