Farmall 240 gear noise.

My neighbor has a Farmall 240 which has a growling noise in 4th gear only and only under load. Could it be a bearing or the gears? Does anyone know where he could get transmission parts ,if necessary?

I have had a bit of gear noise in first gear in my 200 for as long I can remember. It is a chipped tooth I think. Really depends on the noise..........
