Tractor Sizing Farm Pro, Jinma? 2425, can it plow?

Hi, i have a buddy that is looking to buy a compact utility tractor for running a brush hog on some property he bought to hunt on. He found a Farm pro 2425 4x4 used in great condition. The weight of this machine is 2700lbs. If the 9.5x24's were loaded could he pull a 2 bottom plow?

I've previously owned a Ford 1910 that could and it's dry weight was like 3200 lbs, of course it was 4x4 had loaded tires and a front loader.

Any feedback or experience is much appreciated!

It will pull a 2 bottom plow with ease. I pulled 2 bottom plows with a M John Deere and a 8n ford. My 2425 4 wheel drive will out pull either of them. It is a strong little tractor.

I pull a 2 bottom with mine. I have loaded rears and a FEL bringing it to 4600# or so.

I have a 284 and I pull a 2x14 bottom plow, it has cutters and moldboards on the old Ferguson Plow. It WORKS but it has to be in a 3LH gear which is actually a bit slow for plowing. if it didnt have the moldboards it would not work and if plowing in sod it also would not work with out the sod cutters up front...

I have FEL on mine all time and I think that 2700 LB weight above is for the 204, the 254/284 come in right around 3K unloaded without fluids.. Add the FEL (mine is a ZL20 China FEL) which adds an additional 600 lbs to it. I call mine 3700 with all fluids in it and full of fuel for my trailer. If I have the Backhoe (JW03 on it) that bumps up the weight an additional 1350lbs.to 5050 or so lbs. That is all my trailer will hold so I know what I can put on with it if anything...
