I have a 2007 Farm Pro 2425 4wd with the Y385 diesel engine. My issue is that I do not have any fuel going to the number 2 cylinder. I cleaned the fuel tank sediment bowl, replaced the fuel filter. The issue is where the hard lines go to the fuel injection pump. I went to bleed the hard lines and had no fuel coming through the #2 line. I went ahead and took all the lines off and made sure they were clear and open. I took the spouts that the hard lines attach to on the fuel pump off and found that each one has a spring loaded plunger, cranked the motor over and made sure the plungers were going up and down then reassembled the nozzles with the springs installed and cranked the motor over and only have fuel coming up through the first and third nozzles. Could this be some sediment keeping the #2 plunger from compressing the spring enough to let fuel come through? Or is there a cam inside the fuel pump that may be worn? The tractor was running fine when I parked it a couple of months ago. Not sure which way to go.
