Newbie here. Great forum by the way.

I've had the steering wheel keep turning problem for a while but it steered fine, but yesterday
the steering got downright hard to steer. If i turn to lock one way I can't hardly get the wheel
to turn back. I searched but couldn't find that exact problem.

I don't have a manual but all fluids that I can find to check are full.

Any ideas where to start

How's the steering with the engine off?

The steering is hydraulic, and it has a power assist when the engine is running. If it works fine with the engine off then the problem is with the power assist.

Another quick check is to lift the front wheels off the ground with the loader and see how the steering works. The goal is to decide if it's a hydraulic problem or a mechanical one (ie the front wheels are sticking on something).

No bucket but I will pick the front end up tomorrow and try it thanks for giving me some direction.

I have a feeling it is mechanical for some reason, just feels that way but this will give me more of a clue.

I used it to cut with again today and it seemed to be when wheels are centered that's why I thought that.

Thanks again Quicksand.

Forgot to mention this is a 2006 thanks again.
