In flatland, I'd say no problem. If you're mowing hilly country, you might want a test drive before you sign the check

actually with a 20 hp tractor I wouls stay at the 5' finish mower. and a 4 ' rotary mower. weight is probalby OK for a 6' but lifting it and running it in anything that is very heavy may be too much on the tractor. with the 5' you will need more passes but you will be less punishment on the tracor. not to mention how much the 6' weighs? maybe too much for the 3pt even with weightson front it may not raise it fully...

That might be just a bit conservative Mark. I ran a five footer under a JD430 (22hp) and it had LOADS of power in reserve. RuralKing sells the JM200 with a 5 foot MMM. Since that's intended to be adequate for ALL finish mowing applications, I think a 20hp Jinma would handle a six foot RFM just fine - for general purpose finish mowing on flatland. Like I said, factor in hillside - and the equation changes.

I would recommend a 5' finish mower! You will still have lot's of manuverability and less weight.

Like I said, it all depends what and where you're going to mow with it. Large open flat acreages can be mowed 20% faster with a six footer. But hillside mowing - especially if it requires a lot of maneuvering, or travel with the mower lifted - makes a five footer sound more sensible.

I'm sure the MMM 5' would even push the JM200 tractor. useable yes, more steady on hills with MMM yes, will it live longer? probalby much more stress on the 200 series for sure. the 250 would be fine with the 5' and maybe even the 6' on level ground IF the grass is cut weekly so it has less than 4' height. mine soemtimes gets higher as I have 4~6 acres which I mow...
