I have a chance to purchase a 2420 from a buddy who took it, and a Woods RM 600 finish mower on a trade for service.

The 2420 has 275 hours on it, looks pristine in it's appearance and has turf tires on it.

I have a 82 Ford 1700 right now that I use with a 5' bushhog, 5' finish mower, and a King Cutter 4' blade. Mostly just wanting to add another tractor at the right price since my bro-in-law loves to work down on my recreational property when I am there.

I have 28 acres, but only 4-5 acres are clear. The rest is wooded.

Does 2,500 sound like a decent price for the Farm Pro and the Woods Finish Mower. (The mower looks decent, and I have seen it in use.)

By the way: I love my Ford!

Edit: The Farm Pro is a 2003 model

Well, price is one thing. But ability is another. That tractor is only rated at 20 hp, so don't expect it to handle your bush hog. It is however marginally strong enough for a 5' finish mower. The 4' blade won't do you much good behind it either, as it's not likely wider than the turf tires. Just depends what you want your $2500 to do for you. A Woods mower in excellent condition may actually be worth more than a 275 hour FarmPro

I have seen a lot of the 20hp Farmpros pulling a 5'- finish mowers, however high grass would test it's limits, the Chinese measure hp at the PTO so yes it is a 20HP ( But that's PTO Hp) does it have the 2- cylinder engine or the 3 cylinder ? For the Combined tractor and finish mower I think that's a fair price and should do you a good job

If you get it and need anything we have all the replacement parts in stock

Thanks for the insight Greg. I used my Ford 1700 (rated at 25hp) to clear some long neglected field this year that contained lots of saplings. It seemed to do a good job. I don't envision the Farm Pro doing that necessarily, but trying to figure out if it could be used to keep those areas mowed with the bush hog on a regular basis. The Woods mower looks a bit used, but in good shape.

Thanks Tommy. It is always good to know where to go for parts.
