Fan in the garage?

Do any of you have exaust fans in the garage? I keep the JD mower in the garage. I know it, it's kind of funny keeping the mower in the garage and cars parked out on the driveway. Any way the mower leaves its scent in the garage, It smells like exaust ,hot oil, gas fumes, and grass clippings every time I open the door from the house.
If I did put in a fan would I have to get a special kind. Do I worry about gas fumes being ignited by the fan. Do I mount it high or low.

I installed a "Power Vent" in the roof of my garage for those very reasons. Here is a link to the type I used. Easy installation and has thermostat feature that allows the fan to operate automatically based on temperature. It can also be placed on a timer or a manual switch. Plenty of air movement too.

I was looking at one but I wanted lots of CFM's here. I would like about 5 to 7,000. Bigger is better. You can buy them for like $150 with a 30 to 36" dia

Haven't done it yet but will be installing a large exhaust fan in my garage/shop.

I just had my heat pump and inside furnace replaced. I took the fan/motor/framework off the heat pump before scrapping it and will be using that. It's 220v but it'll blow a lot of air.
