Good read.

"Tuttle wakes up at 4:30 a.m. and says he works anywhere from 12 to 17 hours a day. He says he's learned to "survive on less sleep" but admits he longs to spend more time with his children."

Survive on less... I relate to that!

It seems to be the story about farming up here in New Hampshire. A friend of mine, stopped dairy farming last year because there was no one in the family wanting to take over the operation. He was the last dairy farm in our town (Not to say there isn't a farm or two that have one or two cows they milk).

Selling produce is not easy to do and we are getting hit harder this year than in the past. Very few people have enough extra money to buy from local farm stands!

A few are hanging in there due to the major slow-down in the housing market. Land just isn稚 selling like it did a few years back.

I am not bitter and enjoy the 7day a week job I have, just hate to see it happening!
