Thanks Gale , I hope it performs as they say .
As for grinding 300mm/12" trees , it's just a sales gimmick they ALL use . The only way that can happen is if the machine is fitted with a tilting hitch or the tree is only short . If not , it is impossible to cut one off that thick because it wont bend over like a thin tree so the cutters can get onto it . The body of the mulcher will come against the trunk before the cutters can .
I really don't want to have to run more hydraulic lines to work the door , has anyone replaced the hydraulic ram with a Linear Actuator ? I was thinking of fitting a trim pump out of a boat on the mulcher to operate the ram . That way i only need to run wires down the boom to run the pump .
Any suggestions ?
