I'm thinking of putting up a 30x60 (possibly 40 x 60) fabric quonset hut type building for storing some equipment and round bales. I'd like to stack one end full of round bales and leave the other end open so I can pull in equipment.
I'm not sure what would be the best and most cost effective means of anchoring the structure. I've seen a lot of them on posts and on concrete median dividers. Apparently you can anchor some of them right to the ground as well. The site is a high point, so it is well drained and the soil is pretty much all shale. Drilling post holes will be possible with some rented equipment, but drilling isn't always the easiest. I really have no idea what it will cost to get concrete medians, and then I'll have the problem of moving them. I'd probably need to use 2 of our machines at one time to move one of those. I think they are over 4000 lbs.
I'm also interested in any experiences that could be shared about different manufactures, vinyl thickness, etc..
