It took me several months of on again off again digging and chopping, but on 8/13/2011 the beast let go of its grip on earth. :cloud9: It took pulling with my pick-up and pushing with the B2320 to move it into the yard. Next move is to use the pressure washer to clean it up so I can use my chainsaw to reduce its size.:thumbsup:

to bad a guy couldnt clean that up and make a table out of it or something. I wish we had a big stump like that around me as i would make a outdoor table out of it.

Good job Mike.. That's a big stump for most compact tractors, never mind a subcompact.:thumbsup:
In the summer of 09 I dug the biggest stump out.. I dug several bigg'uns out but this was the baddest. Took about 4 hours using my backhoe, but I left the tree attached (pic three)
Every time I get a big one to pop (lose suction enough that you know it's coming out) is a great feeling.. hurrah !!! I'm betting you felt the same.
Forth pic is the second biggest stump.. it took longer because I cut the tree down first. in the pics, my wife is 5'11"

No, not really. Mostly the loader was used to to pull out roots once they were severed, oh and as an expensive wheelbarrow.:laughing: I am not sure if I have pics of the digging, but I'll look.
That is EXACTLY the sort of stump that I would become obsessed with and HAVE TO get out - - in my younger days, when I was invincible, etc.
These days ?
I would put the Woods stump grinder on and reduce it to chips, rake them around by back dragging with the bucket and go back in the house for my second cup of coffee to contemplate what the day will bring.
Maybe I'm missing a point ?
