Hi Mr. Brown,

Most all tractors will have wire harnesses running somewhere near/under the seat area... usually you'll see some loose pigtails just laying there not hooked up to anything... with the tractor powered up, you can take a meter and measure for B+ on these pigtails to nail down the wiring for your accessory lighting.

HELLO TO ALL.
and to everyone who has added extra lights on their tractor, can you tell
me where to tap into the system? i have a L3000DT, and i have the wiring
diagram, but this does not tell me what i want to know. i would appreciate
any information, and small details. thanks.

I added 3 lights to the rear and 2 lights to the front of my L3710, each light being 55watts. I ran dedicated and fused circuits for each set of lights. Far easier than tapping into existing wiring and no worry about overloading an existing circuit.
