Do you mean 1 valve with 2 ports, pressure and return, or 2 valves with their ports. I am on the verge of buying an L3130 with a remote. The dealer quoted $650 for the first remote installed. I did not ask for a quote for a second. I suspect that it would be the same although I know the parts cost is cheaper for the second and third. When I need more valves, I will install them myself.

The Kubota hydraulic remotes are stackable, that is, after the first remote, all you do is add the valve bodies and actuator levers onto the first valve body. You can go with three on the GrandL series (lever controlled) and if you want to, you could split the three three more times electrically for a total of 6 remotes.
$650.00 for the remote is about right. It's hard to get into the area where they mount so it takes time and disassembly. of other non-related components. I'd add ALL the remotes you think you need at one time as every time you add another, you have to do the non-component dissassembly to get to the area where the valve body mounts.

Smat, I got two remotes on my L5030 at the time of purchase last year and the Dealer charged $1040 for parts and labor. I suspect the price would be close to this for a L3130. If I remember correctly the price for the first on was higher, second was less and the third one would have been more than the second, so I only got two. I don't know why each remote has a different price. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Sectional valves require both input and output sections in addition to the
work (valve) sections to form an actual usable valve. This is the reason
the price/complexity decreases after the first section. Barring other
external issues, the cost for the 2nd to n-th valve should be the same
unless you select different valve options.

I probably should have added that on my previous 3710L, I installed the valves myself. The 5030 came from the dealer with the valves.
Kubota remotes come 2 ways. Float and non-float. I'd get a non-float and a float if I was getting 2.

I am in the same boat...looking to buy a kubota.....would like to add a hydraulic top like for a box blade and later a grapple on the FEL....so what do I need and is it necessary to order it from factory or add on later.
