Went to buy Black Oil Sunflower seeds to feed the birds, as we do every winter, and found them to be $48.00 per 50lb bag. Needless to say we did not buy any, we were only paying $18.00 a bag last year.

Just curious what other people who feed the wild birds are paying for the Black Sunflower seed in your area. We usually feed 3-4 bags a month, but that's not going to happen this year as it will be too expensive.

A lot of chicken keepers feed the BOSS because of the protein. You can really boost lower protein feeds, like corn, oats, wheat by mixing them in.

The price has skyrocketed even worse than corn prices.
