BX25D
I was finally able to clean enough out of my garage to fit my BX25D in with my truck (and wife's car). Wish I did it last week when it was 1 outside. I bought four vehicle dollies from HF so I can push the tractor up against the wall - it takes me a couple minutes to raise the front then the rear to get the dollies under the wheels which tends to get a little diesel exhaust in the garage - hasn't seeped up into the house yet, and I'm sure I'll hear about it if it does - anyone know of any hose that I could slip on the exhaust and shoot it out the garage door (probably has to go 10-15')? or is that a bad idea? Thanks.

I keep my tractors in the garage which is under the house. I purchased a hose from my local auto parts store. You can order it in any length you need. It is like the ones you see auto repair shops use. They put it over the exhaust pipe and run it through a hole in the garage door. I hook it to the exhaust pipe and run it under the garage door. I still get a slight amount of exhaust in the garage when I first fire up the tractor but 90% goes out the hose. I just let the tractor run like this for a couple minutes then move to outside and let it warm up before I put it to work.

My solution was to install a fairly powerful fan up near the ceiling, while I did that mainly for dust and paint fumes it serves well for exhaust gasses.

What i did in my last garage was put a dryer vent in the wall and then i got a flexable metal dryer exhaust pipe at Home Depot. Hook it to the fent in the side wall and slip it over the exhaust. problem solved and reasonable too. . . . John

Why do you need the tractor running while placing on dollies and rolling around?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Mike - Tractor running while I raise/lower it to get the dollies under the tires, and also when warming up and taking the dollies out. Maybe after I do it a couple times I'll get quicker, but the first couple have been up/down/adjust/up/down/adjust/etc. I shut it off once I get in on the dollies. If the wheels of the dollies aren't facing the right way or a small piece of debris is catching the wheel of the dolly it's a little tough to get it rolling. Or maybe I need to get back to the gym :)

This is what I did - the B3200 smokes like crazy when cold for 10 seconds or so and the setup I put together works great.

I used the tractor yesterday to move some firewood. Set the bigger exhaust hose outside the garage and ran the aluminum dryer vent hose back to the the tractor exhaust pipe. The magnets hold the hose in place over the exhaust pipe perfectly. Start the fan, start the tractor and there's no exhaust in the garage. Total cost for the setup was about $100 by the time I got done, but there's not exhaust smoke in the garage anymore so it works for me. I left the fan on attached to the tractor for about 5 minutes and there was no problem with the dryer vent hose getting overheated. I took it off the exhaust pipe without gloves without getting burned. It was hot but not uncomfortably so.

I didn't mount mine to the ceiling, I move it around on the floor as needed. That way I can use it on my truck or ATV exhaust too if I'm working on them in the garage.
