The other day I left the blade on my E35 up overnight and in the morning it had bled down and was on the ground. Is that normal?
Also the other motor runs fine but in my limited experienced there seems to be a deep vibration. I have only put 1 hour on this machine and not digging just running around.

Should I be talking with the Bobcat dealer or am I being overly concerned?
Thanks, Joe

If cylinder is extending when blade drifts down it could be the piston seals on the blade cylinder are bad.

Are you talking about a vibration when the engine is running?

Did i mention this is a brand new machine? And yes the engine running when you increase the throttle it sounds okay but there is a havy feeling vibration

Do this simple test. Leave the blade fully raised, come back 1 hour later and see how far the rod has extended. The leakdown is most likely from internal leakage in the control valve. Pretty much all of these leak. How much is the variable, and is it bad enough to really affect the operation of the machine, as in you have to constantly be repositioning (raising) the blade so that you can continue to work the machine?

Please let us know. (y)

If new machine what happens if you lift the front of machine off the ground and let it sit. Similar test to what mtnview suggests just watching leakage while retracting under weight of machine vs extending from weight of blade.

I wouldn't consider this to be normal on a new machine. Whatever the cause whether the control valve is leaking by or a cylinder bypassing internally this isn't going to get better with age. Try the test that Oldnslo suggested as well as monitoring it in general. What other valves or cylinders don't hold position overnight?
That's a Kubota engine if I'm not mistaken and they usually are pretty bullet proof. With the engine idling and also idled up if it will allow it look and see if it appears tight on the mounts. If you have the dealer check the blade leaking down that would be a good opportunity to have the vibration checked as well.

Thanks, I dont feel that a new machine should be leaking down either. I just was not sure if that is part of the design.
