Well I mowed for the last time this year. Time to clean up my baby and put her away for the year.

Yep, I did my last mowing/leaf mulching last week. Was still muddy as all get out, but I hate having those last leaves blowing around. I love the way a good leaf mulching cleans the underside of the deck! I removed, cleaned and reistalled the deck, but I wish I could catch a warm day to give it a bath. She's pretty muddy. I've got a few ounces of gasoline to run out of it as well. I like to leave it dry over the winter. Got the yardman 7hp/24" blower all ready to go for it's 7th winter.

Sounds like you are all set Joel! I agree leaves sure clean up a deck.

I need to get her cleaned up now and put her to be now. I don't have a blade or a snowblower so I am pretty much done.
My father-in-law just got a blade for his Ventrac so I have the "clearing the snow from the driveway" covered.
I am trying to decide if I will have my dealer service my unit over the winter.
I usually have them do it January so then it's ready to go in the spring. I might just do it myself this time around and save some cash in the process.

Morning Micman.
My last mowing about month ago and all of the faling leaves have been romove,but last Sunday while outside puttering I notice in places the lawn has grown...we been having rains w/temps in the hih 50's to low 60's...but there no way Iam waken the Cub up from its winter nap.

Hi Thomas,

I am glad the mowing season is over. Once I get my leaves taken care of I cut once after that and I'm done.
Time to relax!
