I have an old Hoffco that my uncle give to me. It needs a carb overhaul at the moment, but I have cut a lot of wood with it.

When I first got married my wife bought me a Sears chainsaw. It has the smallest gas tank ever put on a chainsaw, you spend almost as much time fueling as you do cutting.

Jonsereds is very popular around here too. I have a Sears but it is just a Poulan painted red. Good saw, though. You planning on starting a chain saw museum?

There's now a DR chainsaw from Country Home Products. I don't know whether they're just re-labelling someone else's or making their own.

My grandfather had a David-Bradley I remember, you had to turn the carburator if you wanted to cut with the saw on it's side.

I owned a Wright saw, it had a blade not a chain. I have a Sachs-Dolmar. I have seen a Lombard. I didn't see Echo on the list, I have used one of those.

Hillbilly, With those additions I think you about got them all, except Poulan. It is surprising some of the names on the list.

My friend/neighbor told me how to double the actual value of a Poulan chainsaw.

Put about half a tank of gas in it.

I did not mention Poulan because it is a fairly common name.The ones I mentioned were obscure chainsaw names to me.
