I happened to have my tractor key in my pocket the other day when I was near the NH dealership. Having misplaced one of the keys for my Case DX29, I thought I'd just see if the NH keys worked and stopped in. Sure enough, they found an exact match (except for the ugly blue weather cap where mine is a nice pretty red) by looking up the part number of the key. The parts guy was kind of surprized the little rubber cap came off easily.

Yep.. my key to my 1975 ford 5000 fits my 2000 NH 7610s...

in the heavy equipment world.. if you have about 5 keys on your keychain.. you can just about start anything pained yellow with big tires..

Sweet! valet or ignition?

You do realize that the valet key fits the ignition.. but not things like the trunk or the glovebox/center consoles... while the ignition switch usually hits them all.. at least on cars with only 1 key... that's why i asked.

These are just plain old regular ignition switch Keys not valet keys.

Back in the mid 80s I had a 1973 Mazda car.
I kept 2 of the ignition switch Keys for it when i sold the car because they work in my back door lock.

Actually they work better than the specific keys for the house door.

What was nice when i had the Mazda is i only needed 1 key for both the house and the car.

Just about any thin 2" long 'pointed' key will turn the ignition over in my 98 dodge ram 1500 ..
