I occasionally have sent small amounts of money overseas. I've asked friends to buy things for me like parts for my 1938 Sachs Motorcycle from auto swap meets in Munich and reimbursed them by Euro Check.

It was simple... for years, I would go to Bank of America and purchase an International Money Order in Euros and drop it in the mail and be done.

Apparantly, due to the falling dollar, Bank of America and other Banks I have contacted no longer offer International Euro Money Orders.

The only option offered is a wire transfer with a $40 cost to send plus a similar cost on the receiving side... hardly worth it to pay a $75 bill.

Anyone here at the TBN Brain Trust know an efficient way to send small amounts of money to Euro Countries?

PayPal? .30 fee for a 10 Euro transfer.

Never thought of paypal... thanks!

I will have to look into it and see if my friend is willing to set up a paypal account...

For smaller amounts the fee seems quite reasonable...
