Equivalent to a Frontier RC 2048 Mower

I own a John Deere 2305 Tractor, I need a pull behind bush hog style mower to mow paths on our land. This model is 1700 bucks, anyone know of a direct cross or something else i can use that would connect easy and work with my tractor?

Do you have the deere quick hitch or Imatch system on your 2305? If yes this might narrow down your choices since some cat 1 implements are not made to a given spec. If no quick hitch then companies like King Kutter, Taylor / American and others may have a lower cost alternative. A lot depends on how you are going to use this. Mowing grass and 1/2" brush or trying to cut 2" trees.
