kubota B6200HST-D
I have a nice old B6200HST with 15HP. I have been using a back blade to remove snow on my flat blacktop drive. I am looking at buying a used 52" 3PH blower. Owner states it worked very well on a 20HP Deere.

If anyone out there has experience with a similar setup, I would appreciate hearing about their results. It looks like we might get a lot of snow this year. The back blade works fine, but as the snow piles up, the only place to put the snow is out in the court. Thanks.

Not a kubota owner, but I run a 60 inch blower on my mahindra with 17.5 pto hp. And thats a non-live pto, meaning, when I stop the tractor, the blower stops too.

You have 12 or 13 pto HP. As long as you have a hydrostatic, and can just creep into the heavy stuff, and keep the blower turning fast, I don't think you'll have a problem at all.

DJG,

Is the 15 HP at the PTO or at the engine, sorry I am not familiar with your tractor set up? I had a 54" PUMA snowblower and the BX has 16.4 HP at the PTO and I had no problem running it. If you get a lot of snow just go slow on the 1st pass and take smaller bits on all the rest of the passes.

If the MFG has a web site you can see what they say. Here is what Pronovost/Puma says on size vs HP. PRONOVOST-PUMA SNOWBLOWERS

It should work out okay for you. Use it as others have stated if the load gets too large.

I had a 16HP Craftsman tractor with a 48 in.??? blower that worked well. I think it was rebadged Roper with a 16 HP. Onan engine.

I say go for it. I ran a 54" rear blower on my 18hp Yanmar with little trouble. Only complaint i had was when cutting through a deep snowbank, it would bog the motor down. I would have to clutch and let the RPMs come back up. You shouldn't have any such problem since you have HST, you'll be able to creep as slowly as you want. Post us some pics when you get her blowing !!

My late father ran a 48" rear blower on a Mitsubishi MT372D, which I think was about 12 PTO HP. It worked quite well, even without a live PTO. With your HST and working it as NY_Yankees_Fan says, I think it should work OK for you.

I wish it was as bright orange as that picture makes it look. In its past life, someone loved it enough to put some really nice hand pinstriping on it. It is a surprisingly tough little tractor.
