Kioti CX2510 HST
My CX2510 HST. On the Engine itself it says it's 1,647 cc of displacement. Cool. That's a decent sized engine for my tractor. Love the Tractor, BTW. The engine sounds like John Henry is inside it trying to get out when it's running, however. People say it's normal so I'll just accept it and move on. Maybe it's the injection system they use, which is different I think.

So anyway, that's a 100 Cubic Inch Engine in a smallish Tractor. Not sure how much torque it makes but it's got to be better than the competition with their much smaller engines.

Anyway, it's funny that all the literature on the tractor says it's an 87 Cubic Inch Engine. Even Kioti's. Folks, 1,647 cc equals 100.50 Cubic Inches. Period. Unless they're using different math in Korea.

Comments??

Also, Kioti has some new grapples that look interesting. I'm going to take a keen interest in them once they hit the market and we get some reviews on them. Anybody?

The engine makes 55 lb-ft of torque at 1700 RPM according to this

(PDF) https://www.enginesplus.co.uk/pdf/Kioti-Engine-Leaflet.pdf

That ain't bad, IMHO

I kinda wish it had a 3-range Hydro but I'm used to it now. Most eveyrhing is done in Lo Range. I can use Hi Range but it requires a bit more RPM to develop any oomph at all. And then it wants to go faster than I care to.

About the only thing I've used to test it is a 4 foot Box Blade from TSC (nice piece of equipment). It never really pulled it down but the tractor would lose traction when it loaded up. I did, however, have the tractor pull down when I got hung up on a big-ass rock. Glad it did or something would have probably broke.

I'm in John Deere Country ( about 9 out of 10) and every single friend that has stopped by absolutely LOVES my CX2510. It really has a lot of nice features. A well thought our design that you appreciate more the longer you have it.

BTW, any cross reference for filters??

Kioti is notorious for bad specs.

Dont get hung up on engine torque. HP is more accurate comparison of engines for tractors IMO.

I have yet to run a tractor that wasnt capable of gearing down and spinning tires.....so with gearing....you have way more torque than you can transfer to the ground already

Kioti is trying to do better on the accuracy of their specifications. Most often, I find when an engine upgrade occurs on a model, the sales specs still carry the older engine specs until they run out of sales brochures. Thats when things typically get updated. Even TractorData.com does not show your CX2510 model.

However, I will say the Kioti (Daedong) Workshop Manuals are pretty darn good at documentation on their tractors. Good photos and quality exploded parts diagrams for every part on the tractor. And Torque specs all included.
