Probably a way to over thought of a question but looking for advice from the experts please.
I have a Kubota B2620 hst tractor. Almost at the 50 hour mark. I changed out the engine oil and filter at 25 hours with Rotella. All is good. Run s perfect. Uses no oil.
MANUAL reads for low sulfur fuel I should use CF, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4, CI-4 AND THEN SAYS BELOW THESE OPTION: THE CJ-4 ENGINE OIL IS INTENDED FOR DPF (DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER) TYPE ENGINES, AND CANNOT BE USED IN THIS TRACTOR.
The Rotella is rated as API: CJ-4, CI-4 +, CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, CF-4, CF
So without a thought I assumed the Rotella is fine but now seeing the Kubota warning (that I highlighted in red has me outhinking myself.
any thoughts from the experts?
thanks
Bill
