Anyone notice the ck20s engine gets a little noisy after some hours on engine oil. I have a bobcat ct122 and I noticed the engine got louder around 25 or 30 hours. It sounds like a wrist pin or lifter or rod bearing knock. It went away completly after my first service, dealer changed all oil. Around 85 90 hours it came back the same. it could be just normal for this engine and would like to know if others have heard it. I here it best at high idle 1500 rpm and also around 2200 rpm while using it. Thanks for any info.

Don't have CK20, have CK30, and have not noticed that.

But I have noticed that on some cars over the years, always thought it meant I had used some cheap oil. But no actual facts in the case.

Do you check the oil level when the knocking is apparent? Maybe it's low.
When I change my oil I always check it 10 hours or so after and typically add just about 1/4 quart to bring it up to level and it stays there until the next change. 530 hours so far and no knocking other than typical diesel sound.

You may want to take a oil sample to make sure you do not have fuel delution. If fuel is leaking into the crankcase it will thin you oil down which can cause severe damage to your engine bearings. For what you are describing this could very easily be your problem.
