One note on terminology. On the previous page of posts, where you show the 1st video of the valve train, you mention connecting rods; I believe you meant to say 'push rods', which is what moves the valves rocker arms open and shut, with assistance ot the valve springs. Connecting rods are in the lower half of the engine and connect to the pistons wrist pins and the crank journals. Just trying to avoid confusion for people reading this thread.:thumbsup:

got busy with other things. and have yet to get back to the tractor, that and shed turned into a sweet shop.

G'day looking at the underside of the head I reckon no 1 cyl could be a bit lean
