engine kill problem

hello guys, i am a good wrencher etc , but have a)(sporadic) problem with a 2030h LS tractor. here is symptoms WHEN problem occurs. When accellerator pedal is depressed it INSTANTLY kills the engine. My seat switch has been bypassed . the engine restarts fine. to get going again, i move all shift levers ., work bucket etc etc NOTE: If i turn PTO selector knob to MID PTO etc, this also kills engine!!! The 2030h has a hydrostatic transmission.. MY thoughts are a HIDDEN switch somewheres. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE. PS. IT has 150 hours on it!!

I haven't looked to see if the seat switch is normally open or closed. Did you take your Ohmmeter to determine if the switch is working? In the end of the terminal, does it have a shorting clip? It sure sounds seat switch circuit related. It looks to be normally open.
A quick check in the manual says:
Tractor will not remain running with operator present in seat
Faulty seat switch• Test switch, replace if necessary • Blown #1 10-amp fuse• Replace 10-amp fuse • Blown #2 10-amp fuse• Replace 10-amp fuse • Faulty safety controller• Test controller, replace if necessary • Faulty fuel shut off solenoid• Test solenoid, replace if necessary • Improper ground• Check ground location, for clean contact area
