I'm at 60 hours and completed my fluid changes.
My Question?
Is my machine really broken in?
She isn't blowing any smoke similiar to when delivered.
She's been garaged since day one. Today at 60... 'zero' smoke at start up.
What I'm concerned with? I never really put a LOAD on her.
I've only run the Backhoe and FED since day one putting about.
Not really any stress on the machine.
I'm thinking about taking her out today and putting a pull strap on her.
Use her to tow my 1 ton pick up my gravel and hilly road. Give her some WORK.
I don't know,, Is she broken in?
Should I worry?

What would that accomplish? What good do you think it will do to suddenly put a load on the tractor instead of simply using the machine normally?

My OEM manual says to load the engine during break in AND vary the RPM up and down, do not to run it full throttle continually but ok for occasional use. I broke my LS in by digging a pond with it using the FEL and box scraper which I continually loaded the engine when digging dirt and then unloaded it when travelling with the full FEL varying the engine RPM by using the foot throttle to increase the rpm from the 1900 throttle setting to WOT. It worked I suppose as it uses no oil.

I have done the same. Using the FEL and Backhoe at various RPM's.

Are we not only pressurizing the Hydraulics?

No strain on the motor to seat the rings etc.

Pulling around a 500lb Box Scrapper is good.. At least you're working the Engine.

Give the Tractor some work rScotty.
Stress her out a little.
****;
If you run a motor for ten years idling and then one day decide to put her to heavy work,,, It may be worse than kicking a kid out of Mom and Dads basement and forcing them to get a job for the first time.

Could get a heart attack after living the easy life for so long.

Hyd. and driving around can put plenty of load for break in, the more important part is keeping the rpm varied.
No need to load it unnecessarily.

FWIW- I never hear of any modern engine not seating rings. I would say at 60hrs you have probably already broken in the engine.

I put my (brand new) tractor right to work the day it got dropped off.
If it couldnt handle the first days work at full load, well then i simply bought the wrong tool for the job.

The key to it is, maintain your maintenance schedules, you`ll never have a problem with the machines ability.
That method has worked for me for 60yrs...!!! Never broke an engine to this day, so i must have done something right.

Hey, don't fret it, work it!
75 years ago due to sloppy machining break in was necessary but with today's CNC manufacturing that engine is at its best as it come out of the production line.
Today's engine is , like 'factory broke in'.
Just use it and don't abuse it.
