I am looking for an enclosed trailer in the 24-28 range that I am going to insulate and line and make a mobile office out of.

I am going to spend a good amount of money furnishing the inside and I plan on using it ten years so I want a good trailer to start from.

I am not really familiar with enclosed trailer brands. Which ones are good and which should I stay away from?

I am looking at some trailers made by cargo pro and cargo craft. The trailers seem nice but I know nothing of these brands and google doesn稚 bring up much.

I don't have any experience in the enclosed trailers but am interested in your project.

Do you already have plans worked out for what you are going to use for insulation? Windows? I assume you are going to install AC being in Texas. Will you also be using outside of Texas where heating may be necessary? Generator to run power for it or do you plan to put solar on the roof with a battery bank?

I had a Haulmark 8x24, put about 20k miles on it going back and forth across the country. No problems of any kind. Also had a Haulmark 6x10, fewer miles, also no problems.

I am hoping to buy one that already has insulation. My current trailer that serves this purpose has a single window in the door. I may or may not get any windows in the new one. My. current one is a 7x12 and has two rooftop AC’s. This bigger trailer might have three. It will he powered by a big diesel generator that is hauled on a separate trailer. I will be putting lots of electronics in the trailer that run on 240 volts and will need around 15,000 Watts.

I am open to either. Prefer gooseneck I think but I have seen some lightweight aluminum bumper pulls that are interesting. 28’ all aluminum enclosed trailers that weigh 4K and have 14k GVWR.

Pay close attention to sidewall thickness. Budget is 0.24. Standard is 0.30. Premium is 0.40. I a, looking at sharp trailers to camp out of.

We are looking for a similar custom trailer, albeit much smaller, so I'm interested in what you find.. We need a 6ft wide 12ft long single axle with ramp door, with added windows, awning and shelving for camping purposes. I'm leaving out details but something we can haul an ATV into the field with and sleep in. We asked a local trailer dealer to get us a price from Cargo mate.

You might find cost's and weight quickly exceeding your estimate's.
I suggest keeping a look out for a construction office trailer. Good deals can be had.
Small time outfits like to buy these things and bulldozers up like crack, which then become the first things they stop paying for when they can't cover the bills.

Consider a small minisplit AC or heat pump. One small one will freeze yourself appendages off in that small of a space. A heat pump will heat in the winter.

I agree one should buy pre-insulated and window installed if possible.

Edit: Considering your electronics load, a two headed mini-split would likely be needed. Regular RV AC units pale in comparison to mini-splits.
