Seems we have almost lost all the great movie legends. I grew up watching her movies, great actress and "purdy" too.

Feels weird watching the "big" names disappearing after so many years.

RIP young lady

I never watched many of her movies and always thought of her as an old lady.

I thought she was in gone with the wind, but my wife corrected me

But watching the news right now, they are talking about ET, she was very beautiful when she was younger. Had kind of a messed up life, 8 husbands

When I was a little kid I remember my mother would comment "oh I can't believe this one or that one died" of course I had no idea who she was talking about. Now I see all the actors she loved on TCM.

I think you are getting into the "age" of it. I've heard a couple of generations that made the comment of the "great ones" dieing off...

Not sure who would do it for me... If Bruce Springsteen died... OMG!!! I'm getting OLD!!!

Well, Bruce is 50 something...Jagger is close to 70...same as McCartney.

Liz Taylor was a seriously fine looking woman in the mid-1950's through the late 1960's. Very tasty!!

Liz was a doll when she was riding her horse, many moons ago. Plus made a nice Cleopatra, but what on earth did she see in Michael Jackson,Aka "the molester"?

"Made eight husbands happy....???" Do I detect a bit of sarcasm here? My opinion is, if she had made ONE husband really happy, she wouldn't have ever been divorced the first time. Personally, although I am nearing 60 years old, I never paid attention to her at all.

As I recall, her first marriage was plugged with abuse. Many actresses had that problem.

As far as the 8 husbands, I wonder if her being worth $300m, or was it $600m, had anything to do with it. That is allot of "honey".
