Kubota B3200
I've read a couple posts about how Kubota tends to be conservative on the amount of hydraulic pressure that's used on their tractors. I've seen posts about adding shims and washers to increase pressure; getting a pressure gauge and hooking it into the hydraulic system, etc. But, I'm not sure I understand it all as it's not very well explained. I'm very mechanically inclined and have rebuilt engines, transmissions, brake systems and systems on vehicles just never done anything with hydraulics other than hooking up and unhooking my backhoe.

I'm assuming that I need to first find what PSI my tractor is currently set for (2012 B3200 with a LA504 loader) to see if it's low or not. That brings up the question where can I find what the PSI should be set at? Is the sales brochure an accurate source?

If I want to increase the pressure where/how do I do this? Are the shims that have been discussed something that Kubota sells or do I have to find them somewhere else? Do different size/thickness shims change the pressure? If so, how many/what thickness shims are needed? Where do they go?

Do I need to buy the Workshop Manual for the tractor to do this or is that information something they don't put in the manual?

Thanks!

My BX WSM is very clear on how to do it: it is very easy to do. K dealers either have or can order the shims. Set up a 1/4 steel tee with a male & Female QC to match your tractors system and install in P (power) or PB (power beyond) line. If you do your own mechanic work the WSM is a must have for less than $100 at your dealers.

Same as putting a washer behind the engine oil pump relief spring to up the pressure, but depending on your machine, it may be a straight screw adjustment to add more pressure to the spring.
Grab a service manual and a gauge, some sellers have gauge kits made up to plug straight in for many kubota QC's or get something else like these, make sure you get the correct fitting for your tractor.
