I have about worn out my Husqvarna 345. Been a good saw. My operation time on a saw has dropped to maybe 1x a month from just about every weekend. I am looking at 20” saws and narrowed it to the Echo and Husqvarna Rancher 455. There is a $60 price difference. I have an Echo weed eater that has been good, about 3yrs old. Any thoughts/opinions to help a guy?

Echo CS590 Timber wolf. Hands down beats it if you buy from dealer. Gives you a 5yr warranty and i have used it alot.

In my opinion, Echo is a bit better then Stihl and a much better deal when comparing what your money will buy for each. Husqvarna is a big step below Echo, but better then Poulan.

I have to say, been a stihl husy guy for a long time, bought a echo string trimmer, I'm impressed. I also just bought a small top handle echo and I like it..

For me Echo has been the easiest starting and affordable equipment I've ever owned.

Wow. I was actually thinking you guys would tell me there is no comparison!! The Echo is cheaper, hate to spend a ton of money on a saw I will use occasionally but do not want a throw away either.

They make high quality stuff, as good or better then than other two..

Have to question....Used the saw a lot, or the warranty a lot? lol. If it's the warranty you've used a lot, then I question how the Echo is better than the Husky 455.

I've had my 455 for going on 8 years and have only done the normal maintenance of put a new spark plug, air filter in it each spring and call it good. I've never had any issues with it starting, running, power, etc. Usually running a 24" bar on mine just due to dealing with larger Ash trees that are never ending dying & falling over on my property.

I currently own a MS291 Stihl 20" , a Husky 455 Rancher 20" and a Echo CS590 Timber wolf 20" . All were purchased new , if you put a knife to my throat and said "pick one and sell the others" I would keep the Echo CS590 Timber wolf hands down .
I'am not a brand loyalist just compareing those three from my personal experience .
