We keep having this threads in JD, are the other brands getting their share of eBay Scams?

I think that JD has this premium brand image that makes the general buying public go a little bonkers when they see an "almost" too good deal.

I've seen these scams in the Yanmar and Grey Market forums. TBN members have also shut down at least one Kubota scam I can recall, but I don't remember what forum that was in.

We saw more than a couple Kubota scams ... BX23 for 3,100, M5700 for 5,000, B7800 for 5,100 ...

I believe there were some blue scams also ...

What really needs to be done is for ebay to start sending some of these crooks to jail and then maybe it wouldn't be so common. It will ruin ebay if they don't get a handle on it soon.

The good thing about eBay is that it is a public electronic marketplace, that usually does not discriminate, nor hinder John Q. Public from buying or selling his wares in an unfretted and technically savy, convienent fashion.

Good post. I was just thinking about the sheer volume of listings there, and how few probably are outright scams.
