I just purchased an EasyVac Lawn/Leaf vacuum system off Craig's List. The manual provided lists the company as EasyRake Powered Lawn Tools by Evergreen International, Inc. in Lebanon, Indiana. I can't seem to find anything on the internet about this company now. Did they go out of business or were they bought out by some other company???

Thanks for any information. The unit I purchased is in very good shape and I am happy to have it. I have to modify the mower deck adapter and the hitch so I can hook it to my Toro Z-Master. I believe I can do this but I was curious if they had an adapter specifically for my model and how much it might cost.

I think it is either a little known brand, or it has indeed gone out of business because I can only find one thread on another forum mentioning the brand name "EasyRake".

As long as it works, that is all that matters really. Just make sure you don't break anything, seeing as parts will be hard to get!

I also picked one up from CL in Sept. and I have surfed around too. From what I have found out that they were bought by Blue Bird. The unit that I have was on an old Cub and I know they also made units for Bolens.

I had to do some welding to modify the boot to fit the discharge opening on my Toro Z-master but it was fairly easy. It works great. I have used it quite a bit in my yard and in my wife's grandmother's yard. One of the bins is cracked around the top and needs to be replaced. This is the original bin that came with it. The previous owner replaced the other one. It uses a Rubbermaid Roughneck 30 gallon rectangular trash can (their product number 2979). These are very hard to locate. I have found a couple of suppliers that have these but they only sell them in a pack of 6:confused: Don't really need that many, but I guess I should buy them since it may be product Rubbermaid doesn't plan on making in the future.
