Just picked up a E350. Only has 700 hrs on it.

Never owned one before.

What’s the trick in opening the hood?

Looks like the air filter is blocking it.

Terrie dot find an old operator manual. No luck.

I used to own a 35hp Mahindra. The air filter was on a metal tube that slid through an opening in the hood into another pipe fitting on the engine. I had to pull the air filter and pipe off to open the hood which had two latches to actually open the hood.

I believe it's similar to my 5005, both the exhaust and air filter pull off (up) and then the hood tilts forward. If the 350 is also similar the batter is in the front of the tractor and you need to remove the grill to access/replace. Good Luck!
