Hi All,

After running my tractor for in the fields mowing for my neighbors, I have noticed quite a bit of dust sticking to the outside of the glass on my cab tractor. I have front and rear wipers that help, but they only cover so much. I dont remember this being a problem on the farm when I grew up. Does anyone have any good home remedies or something to help keep the dust from sticking?

Thank you!

Have you tried Rain-x? I use it on my vehicles and it seems to help keep the dust from the dirt roads sticking.

I also use Rain-x windshield washer fluid.

You may also try spraying the windshield down with silicone spray then wiping it with a newspaper. The silicone should fill in any minute rough spots on the windshield with a slippery solution. I think RainX is something similar to a silicone based spray but much more expensive than a spray can of silicone lube.

only work in the rain.

I just wash them when I get to where I can't see.

The only problem with only working in the rain... it never seems to rain here anymore!

I like the rain-x type of thing. Or maybe waxing the windows to fill in the small rough spots.

It's really not that big of an issue. Just kinda sucks working into the sun with dust all over your windows trying to see where your going.
