We have several old, but still good cotton wagons that were modifed into a silage wagons that we use every when cutting silage. There are baically a metal frame and running gear farm wagons approx. 6' wide and 14' to 16' long with wood sides 5' tall. We use a sliding gate to pull silage out of the wagon with another tractor. I would like to be able to turn them into hydraulic dump wagons using tractor hydraulics so they could also be used to haul/dump dirt and gravel on the farm.
Any suggestions? Designs or Drawings? What size cylinder needed? Wagon load of silage approx. weighs 8,000 lbs.
