I am looking for a pull behind dump trailer with the lift cylinder mounted on the front of the bed. Does anybody know who the manufacturer is for this style trailer. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks Tim

Your looking for one that just mounts to the bed, so not a scissor type jack right? Or do you mean the stage-type pistons like the tri-axle dumps?

Mine is a DownEaster brand made in Maine. So far it's been great and has never failed to lift what I put in it and I've left the quarry pushing that 9,990lb GVWR quite a few times!

I doubt you'll find one like the big rigs due mostly to the massive amount of fluid and pump capacity they require.

Yes thats correct. A front mounted single cylinder that is multiple stage. I know they sell them at a place in Nothern Indiana called Detro Trailers but I dont know what brand they are as I've never been there. Its aways for me as I live in Southern In.

Looked at these, they were cheaper but bought a PJ scissor lift instead:

That's a nice looking trailer. Sure is heavy too! The 6x10 9,990 GVWR version is 2950 lbs empty. In comparison mine weighed in at 1870 lbs.
I'm surprised there's so many options for the telescoping lift. I've never seen one on a small trailer.

Wouldn't manufacture be on the title?

unless it is home built then in PA. it will have a "special construction plate" on trailer

I probably would have bought one if I didn't pony up for the PJ. Sitting side by side the PJ seemed like a better trailer, heavy empty though. I heard too many horror stories of guys having to shovel part of the loads off the cheaper trailers that I wanted to be sure to get a good one.
