I went to start up my B2400 to do some snow blowing after the latest storm. Started OK, and I let it idle for about 10 minutes to warm up. When I reved the engine up to 2500rpm to snow blow, the engine died down then speeded up again. After a couple of minutes of doing this, it ran fine and I was able to snow blow OK with full power. I have had the tractor 8 years and it has never done this before. It was stored in a garage at 25 degrees and outside temp was 12 degrees. As far as I know, I have winterized fuel in it. I think the problem may have been some water in the fuel line or filter that turned to ice. Fuel filter had been replaced last fall. Is there something like gasoline engine dry gas that is put into diesel fuel to prevent this?
