Dry Cylinder and Lines

When hooking up brand new lines and cylinder, what is the procedure to get hydraulic fluid where it needs to be? Thanks.

Start her up and operate the controls.

When this stage is complete, be sure to add more hydraulic oil.

If the system is vented at the tank all you have to do is hook up the lines and run it in and out a few times. It will be spongy at first untill all air is out. If it is a pressureized system you will have to bleed the air at the highest possible point in the system.
