Ford 4110
I just bought a Ford 4110, looks like a 3600, and the drawbar was not attached to the tractor. I am not sure if I need a pin or will a bolt do?

My drawbar fits into a factory designed holder - under the rear transmission. It's held there by three pins. One is 1 1/2" in diameter, the others 1" in diameter. They are 4" long. These pins will be available in a multitude of sizes at any tractor dealership. Be certain you know what you need prior to the visit. The choices will boggle the mind.

The 1 1/2" pin attaches the drawbar to the holder. The other two are in holes placed on each side of the drawbar. They are used to adjust the horizontal location of the drawbar. The drawbar can be straight back or offset to either side and the two smaller pins will hold it there.

How is the pin held in place? And thanks for the information.

Slim - give me a minute. I'll look for a drawing out of my Owners Manual. Back in 5

View attachment 586294 That's even better than I hoped for. The 1.5" pin is way up forward on the "drawbar fixture". The two smaller pins are on each side of the drawbar. They restrict horizontal movement. Hope this helps.

Be aware if using "pins"...

Grade 2 have no marking or color
Grade 5 are usually painted red
Grade 8 are usually painted blue...

The grade of hitch pins are same as grade "2/5/8" of bolts...

Hey - now I know why the tops of my drawbar pins are all painted blue. Thanks - Dale.

That's no problem for me tc55da. My problems come when I have to be certain that it's the BOTTOM light that's illuminated on an overhead stop light. I can REALLY appreciate those intersections where "go" is two illuminated lights on the bottom of the signal.

Have you ever seen the most beautiful sunrise/sunset in shades of grey. It's not that impressive.

Had never heard this before. Know well the grades and marking of bolts and knew pins were made in different grades but never knew how they were marked. Not sure have ever noticed painted pins other than some gold and some black. Thanks
