John Deere 5515
Hi I have a 2008 John Deere 5515, done 2220hrs, and ever since purchase I have had intermittent faults with transmission. Before starting display will show NrSe fault code (sometimes) and if it does start will show NrCE and NrOE (sometimes), this will not allow you to drive. Sometimes will just start and drive, but also has brought up the NrOE fault while working the machine. This can be dangerous as you lose all drive and the tractor just free wheels. Have had John Deere and independent mechanics look at this problem and all have no idea. The John Deere boys left telling me to give the solenoid block for the transmission " a few taps with a hammer", so much for paying for expertise. Have spent quite a bit and am quite upset as first time John Deere buyer. Everybody told me John Deere were great for reliability and service but after 2 years trying to resolve the problem, I have found the complete opposite. Am trying to sort this out myself but drawings and schematics are difficult to get. Was hoping somebody could help me with some information pertaining to the shut off valve and pressure switches involved with it. Have checked the shut off valve solenoid and seems to be working when 12volts is applied to it. It seems to be getting only 6 volts from the EHM and I am wondering if maybe there is a dodgy pressure switch or maybe faulty contact inside the EHM unit???? Am trying to get a hydraulic and electrical schematic or line diagram of this system. Can anybody help me please.

Welcome to the forum. You might try re-posting this in the John Deere section.

You have one of the best engines JD has made in a while. What transmission do you have? PowerReverser? Sorry you have not found the culprit. Sometimes, it can be the simplest of things. If it is a solenoid, have you tried replacing it? Sometimes a cable is stuck, rusted, or out of position due to something being tight or forced.
