I've never used one of those, but I do have a DR chipper. I had a bearing go bad on it, after it had only been used a few times... Their customer service sucks.

I don't have this but i have the Dr Trimmer Mower and it wont start after 45 mins of pulling when you get it running you spend more time putting more line in. IMO you would be time and money ahead to buy a Still weed eater i know you probley hate to hear it but DR in not all there cracked up to be and i agree with justme23005 customer service is crap i WILL NOT EVER BUY NOTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.. Neighbor has one of their driveway smoothing things....I really don't think it does anything....he does not use it anymore.
I have a REAL BAD BACK and I can manage this thing....I can't do a hand held string trimmer any longer, but this thing is pretty easy to push and not TOO hard on me.
I would look at something along these lines....this is not what I have mine is a sears, but it looks like this.
